- Following the announcement of NatWest’s campus-branch closure, which is scheduled for 25 March 2013, the University has announced its intention to secure provision of a new banking service by an alternative provider. A request has been put out to tender, though it is anticipated that there will be an interim period without a replacement service following the NatWest closure at the end of March. Customers will be able to use the adjacent Barclay’s branch for over-the-counter services until the installation of a new provider.
- Uncertainty remains over the future of Diggles as a staple campus snack vendor. Until then, students may enjoy the aesthetics of its newspapered window display.
